Global Trades department (within Global Sales department) is seeking a new Sales Development Analyst to help growing revenue from AFKL Global Trade Agency partners. We are looking for an energetic self-starting individual with strengths in data processing & analysis, problem solving, inter-personal relationships and pulling big-picture strategic stories from multiple data sources.

The successful candidate will be able accompany the Global Trade Account managers in building the most efficient commercial incentives agreements, and develop creative tactical Trade programs or tools that support revenue growth. This position will have an active role in high priority initiatives supporting corporate travel return, SME growth and capturing high-end leisure.  This role allows a high level of autonomy to self-manage priorities and includes exposure to leadership across multiple commercial channels. 

  • Support the Trade Global Account managers in implementing appropriate Global Trade incentive programs (business and leisure motives) to achieve strategic objectives and maximize return on investment 
  • Support the Trade Global Account managers in building their Trade revenue/incentives budget and Rolling Forecast every quart

  • Interact with Global Trade Global Account Managers to communicate data driven decisions, reporting and analysis.

  • Identify initiatives that support corporate return to travel, growing AFKL’s share in corporate and SME channels and new ways to capture high end leisure revenue
  • Identify initiatives that support leisure opportunities pushing the right upsell targets
  • Evaluate data from multiple sources to identify most relevant and impactful opportunities to optimize Global Trade performance

  • Build performance dashboards per account to identify and communicate prioritized strategic opportunities.

  • Create a strong expertise around Market share data (MIDT, DDS) to re-implement in the Trade contracts (fair market share) with return to travel.
  • Bring your experience in building business cases and executive formatted decks or other mediums

Profil recherché

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)  

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or analytical discipline plus 2 years equivalent work experience minimum is required

  • Must possess demonstrable superior technical and analytical skills, sound organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to deliver results

  • General knowledge of AFKL’s markets and competitive market position

  • Solution-oriented, multi-task capable and have demonstrated the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment

  • Demonstrates initiative and self-directs work, provides mentoring and technical/analytical support to team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed for successful collaboration within the team, across departments (BI, Commercial Planning, RMP, network...)

  • Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point are required

  • Must be willing and able to travel occasionally.

 

 

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)  

 

  • Expert level in business intelligence tools including Excel, AMSRP, BO Data warehouse along with working knowledge MIDT

  • Experience with independently preparing analytical Power Point presentations for use by senior leadership
  • Travel industry/sales/revenue management/corporate sales experience is a plus
