Présentation du contexte

The SME Business Developer is responsible for prospecting new clients (incl. cold calling) for the small/medium enterprise segment, managing and monitoring the performance of the BlueBiz program to maximize the revenue it generates.

The SME Business Developer reports to the Country/Field/Sales Manager or Manager Indoor Sales & Business Development (CH) who reports to the Country Sales Manager or General Manager.

Description de la mission

Prospecting of new BlueBiz members :

- Responsible for prospecting, assess potential and generating new BlueBiz clients

- Develops new business prospects from multiple sources, individual search, commercial relationship and using Sales Excellence processes

- Based on the different sources of information, offers a customized agreement to the client tailored to their commercial requirements in cooperation with (Key) Account Managers if needed

- Provides the client with information regarding the contracting process and ensures that all internal contract administration is handled properly

- Cooperate closely with (Key) Account Managers and Travel agencies: arrange prospecting actions with trade, coordinates contests, activation/reactivation campaigns, challenges and other (joint) marketing actions to boost SME revenue

- Effectively attend at client events, road shows, business mixers, exhibitions, workshops etc. in order to enhance networking, promote AFKL and its partners products and discover new business opportunities

- Manages registration of new and prospective clients within Sales Force and ensures all information is correctly logged into SURCOUF.

BlueBiz performance and coordination :

- Responsible for the BlueBiz portfolio: activity, re-activation, Blue Credit usage and achieving the agreed targets (number of new accounts, revenue generated, number of active accounts, etc.)

- Monitors BlueBiz accounts’ activity and manages BlueBiz Upfront discounts for own portfolio

- Creates a yearly BlueBiz country Action Plan for own portfolio in coordination with the Sales Manager

- Country specific task: Responsible that BlueBiz upfront contracts are being properly and timely administrated in the systems

- Gathers public information from the market in the SME segment about competition activity, campaigns, policies, market tends, and share information through the applicable AFKL departments in order to maintain the competitiveness of the AFKL BlueBiz product on the market

- Maintains BlueBiz database quality, by checking inactive and conducting re-activation campaigns, quality of enrollments, quality of current data in cooperation with other departments

- Advise SME accounts, Travel agents and (Key) Account Managers on scheme, program rules and product updates

- Organizes own BB event and marketing support material based on available budget

Profil recherché

- Bachelor degree

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience related to sales Experience in airline, travel or hospitality business  environment is an advantage

- Knowledge of sales processes and marketing communication techniques
